How to get the terms you want?~

Finally he got the job offer but it was not as expected!


He contacted me asking what to do! I told him I can't decide for you, but I have few questions!

After discussing his situation, he decided to negotiate.

We agreed on what to write: "Say what he wanted and keep the door open"~


Email was sent! But!


Next day he was feeling lost! Is it over?!

He thought they will get back to him sooner!

But he was patient!


10 days later~

“Hi, just want to update you that I got another offer and they offered me very good package!” Daah! :)


Moral of the story!

"In business as in life you do not get what you deserve, you get only what you negotiate”.


Before you enter into any professional or personal negotiation, you must decide ahead of time what you are and are not willing to accept.

When we are offered terms that does not meet what we want, we have to be able to walk away and mean it.


Never let the fear of loss hijack you emotionally and prevent you from getting what you deserve in life.


If we don’t believe we deserve what we want, we should not expect others to believe so!

"Let us never negotiate out of fear, but let us never fear to negotiate."
